Much Activity Near 47th & Baltimore

The beautification of the traffic triangle at 47th & Baltimore is proceeding nicely.  The pictures illustrate the progress within the past week.

Eagerly awaiting the opening of Zen Garden on the south side of Baltimore just east of 47th Street.  Happy to see the ramp for wheelchair and stroller access.  My hunch is that this will be a high-end sit-down Chinese restaurant with tofu beef options.  Can anyone confirm or disabuse?

Vietnam Cafe Re-Opens

 

The newly enlarged Vietnam Cafe is now open.  The cafe's owners have transformed the former Abbraccio building with their distinctive lighting, awnings, and attention to detail.  The building's porch has been enclosed and incorporated into the dining room.  And, they've now got a full bar.
